As an R&D Engineer System Solutions you will design system solutions or building blocks that meet customer/general requirements, expected manufacturability, quality and cost. This role involves providing technical support for subcontractors and collaborating with customers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in project kick off meetings, evaluate and examine given input data. Secure that specification, time/ cost target is agreed and understood before project starts
• Ensure that the delivered solutions are according to applicable specifications, standards, processes and guidelines
• Responsible for overall and electrical solutions
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical design
• Create BOM and technical documentation
• Store, archive and update: BOM, technical/ production and customer documents in ERP systems
• Responsible that new suppliers or components are approved before used
• Coordinate and give needed technical input/support to other departments in projects
• Responsible for changes performed via engineering change process
• Ensure that project meet product cost target
• Participate in prototyping and testing of new solutions or improvements
• Responsible for prototype check and approval
• Fill the role of contact person for suppliers and subsidiaries in projects
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team and company culture

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent in training and experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience from similar or other relevant positions
• Strong technology/engineering skills
• Highly skilled within standard IT business tools
• Good English skills both verbally and in writing
•
